Riya is a 4th-year journalist, class of 2026, and one of three copy editors this year. She’s currently struggling with the transition from rocking purple crocs on a summer hike to falling asleep next to a good book in stormy weather. Loves a good sale, pencil sketches, and prepping for her next cybersecurity competition. Her summer undertakings this year included a research paper combining ransomware and economics, (re)drafting one too many college essays, and bettering her Bengali grammar. Dislikes needles, Styrofoam, and weak teas. Currently obsessed with series’ The Lies of Locke Lamora and The Scholomance.
