Andrew Kim, Copy Editor

Andrew is a copy editor for the Issaquah High Times. As part of the Issaquah Class of 2025 and a third-year journalist, he has a lot of experience in the newsroom and the school culture. Alongside writing his favorite STEM articles, he is enthralled in the art of poetry—his favorite poet being Stephen Crane. Additionally, he enjoys long bike rides with his dad, participating in the high school swim and dive team, and fencing at national competitions. As co-captain of IHS’s swim team, he takes pride in creating a strong team spirit. His fencing achievements include winning a national bronze medal, which stands as his best result to date. In his chill time, he enjoys watching Bo Burnham skits and listening to his songs on repeat. Outside of all these activities, he can probably be found in misery with college applications. And finally, no, please don’t ask him to fence you with rulers. You will definitely lose.
