This past Saturday a new community space hit the city. Rock N’ Roller Rink is a non-profit started by a group of avid roller skaters who wanted to bring this activity back to the community. They hope to provide this space for other roller skaters of all level backgrounds every Saturdays throughout the summer at Pickering Barn. The subject of this photo journalism piece was their soft opening night. I tried to focus on the movement of the people and also capture this vibrant new community that is just beginning to grow in Issaquah!
