Public Transportation

The‌ ‌high-intensity‌ ‌activity‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌plateau‌ ‌surrounding‌ ‌Issaquah‌ ‌can‌ ‌often‌ ‌get‌ ‌chaotic‌ ‌—‌ ‌chaotic‌ ‌

enough‌ ‌to‌ ‌make‌ ‌us‌ ‌forget‌ ‌the‌ ‌amazing‌ ‌privileges‌ ‌that‌ ‌we‌ ‌have‌ ‌access‌ ‌to,‌ ‌public‌ ‌transport‌ ‌being‌ ‌

one‌ ‌of‌ ‌them.‌ ‌While‌ ‌a‌ ‌majority‌ ‌of‌ ‌denizens‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌SeaTac‌ ‌are‌ ‌car‌ ‌owners,‌ ‌many‌ ‌still‌ ‌opt‌ ‌for‌ ‌the‌ ‌

park‌ ‌and‌ ‌ride‌ ‌system‌ ‌in‌ ‌which‌ ‌they‌ ‌drive‌ ‌a‌ ‌small‌ ‌distance‌ ‌to‌ ‌a‌ ‌nearby‌ ‌bus‌ ‌station‌ ‌and‌ ‌travel‌ ‌the‌ ‌

majority‌ ‌of‌ ‌their‌ ‌commute‌ ‌via‌ ‌bus.‌ ‌In‌ ‌doing‌ ‌so,‌ ‌they‌ ‌cut‌ ‌down‌ ‌on‌ ‌their‌ ‌carbon‌ ‌emissions,‌ ‌even‌ ‌if‌ ‌

just‌ ‌by‌ ‌a‌ ‌miniscule‌ ‌amount.‌ ‌The‌ ‌next‌ ‌time‌ ‌you‌ ‌are‌ ‌on‌ ‌the‌ ‌way‌ ‌to‌ ‌work‌ ‌or‌ ‌downtown,‌ ‌it‌ ‌would‌ ‌not‌

hurt‌ ‌to‌ ‌stop‌ ‌and‌ ‌consider‌ ‌the‌ ‌other‌ ‌sustainable‌ ‌means‌ ‌of‌ ‌transportation,‌ ‌especially‌ ‌with‌ ‌a‌ ‌system‌ ‌

as‌ ‌accommodating‌ ‌as‌ ‌ours.‌
