The world of sports is no stranger to blood, sweat, and tears. A particular issue has recently gathered more attention than it once had: young athletes under pressure. My younger brother, CJ, plays goalie for a local hockey association and is accustomed to the everyday struggles the sport comes with. The role of goalie not only comes with ample responsibilities, but puts the parents under stress as well. Some of this can be taken out on the player, making them feel as though they are not good enough or that they are burdening their parents. What those athletes really need, however, are parents that support their passion
