Stella Handlin is a senior this year at Issaquah High School, and she is a first-year journalist for the Issaquah High Times. From a young age, she has always had a passion for writing because it provides comfort to her. Within the past two years, she has realized that doing journalism about the NFL is something she would like to pursue in the near future.  

Handlin plays competitive soccer for Crossfire Academy as well as Issaquah High School, where she is 1 of 4 captains for the 2025 season. Soccer takes up the majority of her time outside of school, so she has learned to love competitive and hardworking environments.  

When Handlin isn’t traveling for soccer, she loves listening to music by Taylor Swift, Role Model, and Megan Moroney. She is a long-time, die-hard Gracie Abrams fan and has been lucky enough to see her three times in concert.
