Kate Bevins is a dedicated athlete who is always looking for new goals to work towards. She is a cheerleader and has been her whole life. She is aloving sister who puts family first. But most of all, she is a writer who finds joy in using her voice to tell other people’s stories that deserve to be told.Ever since she was only 4 feet tall, she was reading chapter books and drafting stories. Now that she is older, she can use her talents to write inIssaquah High Times. This is her first year as a journalist, and she is excited to gain knowledge of culture and our community. She also hopes tocollaborate with the student body to create writing that provides clarity to confusing topics and sheds light on critical issues. She enjoys writing aboutsports, arts, and clubs.
