Caleb Afruma, Staff Writer

Caleb is a first year journalist and class of 2028! Though he’s never worked with a school paper before, writing articles is something he loves. His previous works include the history and origin of My Chemical Romance, the art and impact of Studio Ghibli, and what the average person can do to help work against fast fashion. He has also written reviews for books, both ones he loved and ones that he hated. He has a wide range of interests, from reading and collecting books, poetry, and manga, to baking, to music, to cosplaying, to fashion and sewing. One of his favorite things to do is just to learn new things, and then to share that knowledge with others. Caleb’s friends and parents are often subjected to his rambling about video games like Danganronpa, his favorite manga series, and whatever else he may be fixating on, and one of his goals as a journalist is to do just that – do research, and then share what he’s learned with as many people as he can. He wants people to be able to take something from his writing, to come away with some kind of new information
