“Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie” was released Sept. 29, is one hour and 35 minutes, and an adventure/animation film. Many new and returning voice actors make an appearance, with names like Mckenna Grace, Brice Gonzola, and even Kim Kardashian thrown around. The movie, while fast paced, displayed good morals and lessons throughout the entirety of the film. Though the jokes are meant for a younger audience, it does not necessarily stop older viewers from enjoying them. The energetic tones of the animations appeal to both older and younger generations as well.
In the movie, the town saviors, the Paw Patrol pups, magically gain superpowers after a meteor strikes Adventure City. However, things take a turn for the worse when the main villain, Humdinger, and a mad scientist steal the powers and turn themselves into supervillains. As the team springs into action to save the city, the gang learns that even the smallest pup can make the biggest difference.
The animation in the movie is top-notch, with vibrant colors and attention to detail that captivates both children and adults. The characters are endearing and relatable, each showcasing unique personalities and abilities that contribute to the overall charm of the Paw Patrol team. Along with the responsive characters, the familiar celebrities that make an appearance add to the amicable mood of the movie. It is no secret that Kardashian is one of the most widely known celebrities, and the Paw Patrol crew makes use of her status to appeal to the age group that most despises movies for kids: teenagers. Delores, the poodle she plays, conveys Kardashian’s spirit through her sassy, skeptic language.
“Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie” is a fantastic addition to the Paw Patrol universe, offering a fun and meaningful experience for children, teenagers, and parents alike.
