“Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” is a Great New Addition to the Series

With the original release date being slated for November 2020, fans of “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts” alike have been anxiously waiting more than a year for the third film in the Fantastic Beasts series. On April 15, “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” was finally released in the U.S.

With dark wizard Gillert Grindelwald plotting to take over the Wizarding World, Albus Dumbledore, who is unable to fight Grindelwald due to a blood pact, rounds up a ragtag team of witches and wizards to thwart the plan. Among these recruits is Newt Scamander, an expert on the fantastical and unusual beasts that are uncovered throughout the movie. Watching the crew interact with the dangerous yet alluring creatures is incredibly interesting. Additionally, discovering how Newt often resolves these near-death situations leads to a film that causes one to not be able to take their eyes off of the screen.

Many different factors can separate a good movie from a bad one, but the thing that makes “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” stand out is its eye-catching visuals and amazing CGI. All of the different creatures as well as the magic spells in the movie are created through CGI. Through these effects, the movie truly comes to life and becomes a lot more thrilling and fun to watch.

Although some may argue that this movie was lacking in comparison to the others in the series, that is simply not the case. The film was more action packed and plot heavy than the preceding movies of the series, which may have put off some of the original fans who enjoyed the simplicity of Newt going around New York City messing around with strange looking beasts. If you are looking to watch a thrilling movie filled with breathtaking visuals and a whole new world full of magical creatures, “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” might just be the movie for you.
