“Demon Slayer,” a manga series written by Koyoharu Gotouge, got a successful anime adaptation by Ufotable. Seventy-two days after its release on October, it raked in ¥32.12 billion (about $282,135,527.52) billion and surpassed Oscar-winning anime creator Hayao Miyazaki’s “Spirited Away,” which earned ¥31.68 billion. The game and season two came out around the same time and fans are very excited to play the game and watch the show at the same time.

 The game is made by Cyber Connect2, known for the game “Naruto: Ultimate Ninja” which has great graphics, amazing skill animations, and is well-adapted to the original manga story.  You can play demon slayer games on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, or Microsoft Windows by paying $60 which is a little expensive but worth buying if you are a big fan.

A few good things about this were that its animation did not disappoint. Ufotable, which is an anime studio, is known for top tier animation. However, Cyber Connect 2 did a great job of following the story and animating the scenes. Also, the frame of this game is 30 frames per second (FPS), which is close to the anime frame which is 24. I liked the way they followed animation style rather than just the smooth 60 FPS style. 

Some of the flaws in this game would be that there are not many characters to play. You can choose 18 characters but if you take out the character the character has multiple options to choose from because of form and skill difference (three options to choose but they are all the same character). You only get to play 11 characters which is way less than the Naruto game. Also, I personally think that the quality of this game could have been better. It has been about five years since the latest Naruto came out, but the quality between “Demon Slayer” and “​​Narutimate Storm 4”(the latest Naruto game) is about the same. Even though the quality is still very good, there is a five year gap so I think they could have done a better job on it.

Overall, I liked this new “Demon Slayer” game. There are some disappointments, but the game has just started, so I think it is worth playing and waiting for the sequels for improvement on this game. Other than the price of this game “Demon Slayer” is pretty good.
