Hip-Hop artist Dominique Jones, or more well known as “Lil Baby,” released a new album called My Turn on Feb. 29, 2020. This album features several big-name rappers including Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, 42 Dugg, Moneybagg Yo and Lil Wayne. The album was supported by two hit singles “Woah” and “Sum 2 Prove” which both reached Hip-Hop top one-hundred songs in the nation in 2019. Lil Baby debuted at number one on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart in the month of November 2019. In October 2019, Lil Baby revealed plans to release his next studio album in 2020. The purpose behind the album name comes from Lil Baby’s feeling of other rappers having their hit songs and albums in 2019, therefore it is his turn to reach the top of the charts with this album.

Of the new songs in the album, the most popular are “Commercial” featuring Lil Uzi Vert, “Emotionally Scarred,” and “Heatin Up.” Other songs such as “Forever” featuring Lil Wayne and “Live Off My Closet” featuring Future both attract a variety of rap fans from several fan bases, making this album more popular as time goes on. The young Atlanta Georgia native originally became heard from his song “Freestyle,” which he released in 2017, and he continued to trend upwards from there. Many hit albums from the 2018 year such as Harder Than Ever, Drip Harder, and Street Gossip propelled him past many other trending rap artists on music charts.\

The My Turn album produced in 2020 was beautifully crafted and the features in the album will continue to keep his name up with all the popular artists out right now. Lil Baby’s continuous work ethic will allow him to reach greater accomplishments in his rap career and in life. He has been one of the very few artists that consistently drops music for his fans. The steady growing fan base of Lil Baby will be
very pleased with the new album dropped and the hit songs on this album will climb the charts in the upcoming months.
