Transitioning into my final year of high school has been nothing but unexpected — but not necessarily in a bad way. One thing is for certain, and that is that senioritis is no myth. With college looming on the horizon of my future, it has been difficult to keep up with the things that I truly enjoy doing while staying motivated to keep up with school. However, that just makes it even more imperative that I make time for myself. I have tried to cram my schedule with extracurriculars ranging from a part-time job to a variety of different clubs in order to make the most of my last year of being a kid. So far, despite the inevitable hiccups, I can honestly say that this year has been the best by far.
