Fall City’s 3.4 Magnitude Earthquake

On Saturday morning, Nov. 9, a 3.4 magnitude earthquake took place about 4.6 miles northeast of Fall City, and 24 miles from Seattle, WA. According to Pacific Northwest Seismic Network, the earthquake began at approximately 7:38 am, with a depth of 10.6 miles below the Earth’s surface, although there are no reports of deaths or any injuries. About three hours prior, in almost the exact location, a 2.3 magnitude earthquake occurred, measuring a depth of about 10.25 miles below the surface of the Earth.
