Harry Potter is an eternal character in my life. The day I started reading it, I was obsessed with it. Harry Potter is a series of fantasy novel written by the British author J.K. Rowling. This book has a world-wide popularity and has won many hearts all over the world, including mine.

In the Harry Potter and the Chamber of the Secrets, Harry is warned of the dangers in Hogwarts by the house-elf Dobby during his summer vacation. Dobby persuades Harry not to go to Hogwarts that year. In spite of this, Harry goes to the station to go to school with Ron. The wall of the platform 9 ¾ gets blocked and he and Ron go to school by a flying car and have a nice adventure during their journey to their school. They later discover that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened by the heir of Salazar Slytherin. Many students are petrified and a lot of suspicion falls on Harry Potter. And the fact that Harry Potter can speak parseltongue (snake language) was revealed during this period which increased the suspicion on him. This book revolves around the plot how does Harry Potter solves this mystery and how he saves Hogwarts from the heir of Slytherin. This Book made me interested in reading the other Harry Potter Books and become a ‘Potterhead,’ as the fans of the series are called. Even now there are lot of Harry Potter books being sold out. My one of the most favourite part of Harry Potter is the “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” which is an Awesome plot of  Harry Potter, where Dumbledore reunites the Order of the Phoenix in the noble Black’s house. It revolves around the Department of Mysteries. In this plot it is also revealed that Harry and Voldemort are connected. This book seemed more interesting as it revolves around both Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort.

The innovation of J.K Rowling made me get involved with the book until I finished it. The book haunts me to read it until I complete it. It is easy to understand why the story of Harry Potter resonates amongst all the ages, drawing in fans from around the world. The magic, simply put, is real.

One of the character I thought about in all the books was Severus Snape who was believed to be a bad guy but proved many times to be a good guy. He is very unique. Though he showed hatred towards Harry during Potions class and inside Hogwarts, he actually saved Harry many times.

In the “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” when Harry was playing his first Quidditch match, Professor Quirrell tried to jinx his broom. But Severus Snape tried his level best to keep an eye contact with Harry’s broom in order to save him.

Then in the “Prisoner of Azkaban” Snape tried to save Harry and others when Remus Lupin was transforming into a werewolf. He tried to save Harry by giving Dolores Umbridge a fake veritaserum when she tried to ask Harry about Sirius whereabouts. And he informed the order when Harry left with the others to the Department of Mysteries in order to save Sirius. He also played an important role in the “Deathly Hallows” by sending a patronus to Harry to guide him to find the sword of Gryffindor.

Overall, Severus Snape was a unique character for me along with Harry Potter and the other characters.
