SEATTLE SELFIE MUSEUM IS ATTRACTING MANY The new Selfie Museum in down-town Seattle has rightfully caught the eye of many people, due to their intricate room designs.

Just stepping into the new Selfie Museum in Down town Seattle puts a wide smile on people’s faces. As soon as you step in, your eyes are captivated by the intricate details incorporated into the backgrounds. The small-scale museum includes ten hand-crafted, interactive rooms on the first floor, along with an additive staircase packed with bright, colorful, murals that leads you to the second floor containing fifteen more rooms. People of all ages go to take pictures, but more importantly, selfies. These exciting walls make taking selfies way more exciting.

This new business is a great way to keep teens interested in museums, despite our world adapting to technology at an extremely fast rate. Galleries struggle to attract younger generations due to the sudden surge in technology that now makes up most of teens live’s. This way, we can embrace that and create a fun way to spice up a museum. This idea could help business for museums around the world that may be struggling to engage younger generations.

One thing I loved about the museum was the employees. They were excited to be there and loved to chat, which made the five-minute wait more enjoyable. They helped everything run smoothly and made sure no one used a certain room for too long. Some rooms got crowded, especially if it was a popular one, like the bathtub room or mirror room, but you can easily check out the other rooms, snap some cute photos, and then make your way back. Surprisingly, my favorite part of the museum was the staircase leading to the second floor. The walls and steps were packed with fun designs and painted backdrops that embellished my photos. I would recommend going with a group of only three to four just because the rooms are tight and it gets easily crowded.

Cost of admission is twenty two dollars for ages five through twelve. Adult tickets cost twenty-nine on a weekday and thirty-four on a weekend. We were able to use the museum for a little over an hour and that was plenty of time to casually make it through all the rooms, getting pictures at each. The museum is perfect for a birthday party or just to hangout and take some fun pictures. The photos turn out really cool and different, adding a little spice to your normal pictures. Make sure to check out the new Selfie Museum located in down-town Seattle before it is sold out!
