After absolutely adoring the box office smash, “The Greatest Showman,” and playing the album on repeat, I did not think it could get any better and then I heard the amazing rendition of “The Greatest Show” by Panic! At the Disco, and I was hooked right back in again. With a variety of voices ranging from female powerhouse P!nk to acapella stars Pentatonix, the masterpieces of Benj Paskek and Justin Paul’s renowned musical get a refreshing makeover that adds a fun new twist on a beloved soundtrack.

“This is Me,” the unapologetic declaration of freedom and confidence gets an exciting twist by Keala Settle and Missy Elliot who add an element of rap to Kesha’s strengthening harmonies and powerful conviction.

Kelly Clarkson’s awe-inspiring rendition of “Never Enough,” my favorite cover on the album, takes Loren Allred’s heartbreaking ballad to the next level by dropping the volume on some of the heart-wrenching, beautiful piano from the original album and emphasizing the passionate gold in Clarkson’s voice.

The beautiful duet, “Rewrite the Stars,” originally sung by acclaimed actors Zac Efron and Zendaya is perfectly picked up by British singers, James Arthur and Anne Marie, who harmonize magnificently with Arthur picking up the higher notes, making their voices an unrivalled blend.

The mix of covers on “The Greatest Showman Reimagined” bring the well-loved songs back into the spotlight where they belong, showcasing the strengths of a range of artists and pulling together a mix of the best of the music community.
